Botox is a quick procedure and with minimal preparation. For the best results, avoid ibuprofen, aspirin and fish oil supplements for 3 days prior to your visit.

Your experience with Botox/Dysport starts with a personalized consultation with Jacki in our private East Grand Rapids office. There she will take time to understand your desired aesthetic and determine exactly how to place the Botox for the most natural results. Then Jacki will take time to answer any questions and review the process so you feel confident with your treatment.

During your BOTOX/Dysport treatment in Grand Rapids, Jacki will use a fine needle to inject the appropriate neuromodulator, whether Botox or Dysport, into the areas discussed during your consultation.

Your appointment, including both consultation and treatment should last around 30 minutes.

The results from your Botox/Dysport treatment will develop gradually over the following few days and full results are visible in 10 days post-treatment.

Treatments last for an average of 3-5 months. We generally recommend that our patients return every 4 months to maintain their results. Jacki will discuss individual recommendation with you during your appointment.

To ensure you’re looking your best, we recommend planning Botox/Dyport appointments 2-weeks prior to special events to ensure your results are in full effect.

Botox at Refine Aesthetics has no recovery period, allowing you to resume to your routine the same day. There may be mild redness at the injection site for 15 minutes immediately following the procedure.

We recommend that avoiding alcohol and exercise the day of your procedure, as well as facials and chiropractic care for at least 14 days.
